So, Tawni stopped by with Stella today looking all cute in her little green skirt and white shirt. Cort and Michelle decided to turn on the back sprinklers and run through them with Stella. We didn't have a swimming suit or a hat for her so I took my Kasey Kahne scarf and we made a Do-Rag hat for her to protect her head from burning. Before we took her outside, we dressed her up with all my old Kasey Kahne NASCAR stuff just to make her dad mad, after-all, he's a Jeff Gordon/Jimmy Johnson fan! She loved the little red die-cast Kasey Kahne car and would push it along making a car noise like an engine revving! Once outside, she played on the ghetto lawn chair, removed everything she could from the patio to the lawn, including the bag of mesquite BBQ chips you'll see her handing to her daddy. Cort taught her how to use the squirt bottle as a weapon which she loved. Before it was over, she was covered in grass, had mud between her toes, and my backyard looked like a train wreck! She had so much fun!
