For My Sister Gail
Here to go! You asked for a picture of Aunt Kathy and Aunt Vickey and here it is. Vickey and I went to New Harmony yesterday and spent the afternoon with Kathy and Ron. They had a friend David visiting them from San Diego. He just retired from the navy and came to see them for a few days. That was over 2 weeks ago. He really likes it around this area and may decide to stay for awhile.
Cortney and Theresa went 4-wheeling in Corts truck and found some neat old forts and back roads. About dark they came upon a bluff overlooking Washington County. They said it as georgeous up there looking down on the lights of the city.
Today is the pool party at Dave and Sharyl's so you know new pictures of Stella a near. Thanks for your patience, love to all!

Yes, I am alive!
Since I last updated on Mothers Day, I have been right out straight. I've only seen Stella ONCE! Here's my excuse list:
-Planning and executing move scheduled to begin this Wednesday, May 28
-Packing,packing, and more packing
-Job 1
-Job 2
-Job 3, although light
-Mandatory reading of "Lean Manufacturing" for Job 1
-Payroll conversion for Job 1
-Weekends spent reviewing and scheduling interviews for new hires for Job 1 - yes, I did find an Assistant for those who have asked
-Some sleeping
-Shopping for new washer and dryer and other necessaties for new house
-Converting all of my cell phone data to new Blackberry and trying to figure out where everything is now!!
-Figuring out some computer dilemna's because I was foolish enough to "upgrade now" with my Quicken software
I have left room for some fun, today (Sunday) my cousin Vicky and I are going up to New Harmony to spend the afternoon with her sister Kathy and husband Ron. It's always fun to go up there and hang out. New Harmony is about 30 minutes North of St. George, just this side of Cedar City. They have spectacular views of Kolob Canyon from their house. My sister Gail has asked for some updated photos of them so I'll take some today and add to the blog. Tomorrow, Dave and Sharyl are going to have a Memorial Day BBQ and Swim Party so after I spend the morning doing my homework from Job 1, I'll head over there and plan to spend the afternoon snuggling with my little Stella.
Get your Stella fix now by visiting Tawni's blog listed on the right. There are some ADORABLE pictures, my favorite is the one of her holding her two fingers together while she sleeps. I have mentioned before how amazing her little hands are and how she is always moving them in such delicate little ways. Eventually I'll get the picture copied over to my blog, but for now, head on over to Tawni's, there's some fun things to see!
Thanks for being patient with me and my lack of posts. Next weekend Jody and Kevin will be down from Salt Lake to help with the move and the boys and Dave are also planning on helping. I don't know how much I'll be able to post but I will certainly take pictures and get them up as soon as I can.
Hugs and Kisses!

Celebrating Stella's Blessing Day
Although there were many friends and family at Stella's blessing today, I wished all of you could have been there to see Jason bless his precious daughter in church today. Although emotional, his words were strong and his message to Stella made me so proud. Even Cortney, who attended church today for the first time in many, many years whispered "that was awesome" when his brother finished. Jason then held little Stella up for the congregation to see and of course Tawni had dressed her to the nines. As Jason and Stella returned to Tawni and the rest of us, Jason put her up to his cheek and Jason was immediately overcome with emotion. I was so proud of him and as I watched the three of them share this moment together I said my own prayer of thanks that I am here and able to experience all of this. After church we went to Dave and Sharyls for a wonderful lunch and visit with friends. The Jazz were playing the Lakers and everyone was screaming and yelling having such a good time. After the game, Cort and I headed home, driving by the new place we're moving to which is only one street over from Dave and Sharyl's. We are so excited!
Next week is crazy. I'll be in Vegas for a seminar on Wednesday. A friend from Denver and her boyfriend are also going to be in Vegas that day for his birthday and they want me to meet them afterwards for dinner. I'm looking forward to it. The rest of the week is working and packing!
Happy Mothers Day to all of you who are Mom's. The world would stop turning without us!

Grandma Time...
When I saw this photo on Tawni's blog, I was amazed. Sharyl is so beautiful and always looks so young that when I saw myself in the picture I was shocked! Being a Grandma has actually made me younger! I found the fountain-of-youth, and her name is Stella. She gives me so much strength and purpose.
Lots of things happening right now. I have a 2nd second job, yes, that's right, a total of 3 jobs now. Besides my full time job at Sylarus Technologies and a part-time gig I've had since last fall at Kays Jewelers in the Mall, I'm now working at the Summit Fitness Club in the Membership Office. It's a lot of fun and I get to hang out with the nicest people. The best part is that I'm usually off at 8:00 at night so I workout after I'm done. It's been working out great!
My townhouse deal is off. It's really quite a long story, but in the end it was a choice I made that took quite a load off. The builder kept changing the floor plans which really pissed me off and then I started having anxiety attacks worrying about making a mortgage payment until I'm near 80 years old! Anyway, it all worked out as it allowed me to find another place that I'll be renting in Coral Canyon where Jason, Tawni and Stella live! It's a beautiful home with a backyard, garage and views that are breathtaking. I'm just in the process of being approved so I'll know for sure in a few days.
Jody Hill just called me and has offered to come down and help us move! Kevin her husband, may come down and help which will be so great. She hasn't seen Stella yet so I'm really excited for them to meet!
Stella is going to be blessed on Mothers Day, how special is that! Last year was the first Mothers Day with both of my sons and daughter-in-law and this year we now add Stella. It will also be her 4-month birthday which is mind-blowing. After church a ton of people will be headed to Dave and Sharyls for a get together and a celebration of Mothers, Daughters, and Granddaughters!
Anyway, that's about it for now. There's always something going on! Happy Mothers Day to all of you Mothers! Hugs and Kisses!

Tawni's Grandma Olson and her uncle Chad came down from Salt Lake and we all got together for dinner. After, Jason, Tawni, Jeri and I took Stella and Brody for a walk. We ended up on the golf course watching Brody chase rabbits and taking photos of flowers. It was a beautiful evening! Cort and Theresa went camping for the weekend. The temps are in the 80's now and are wonderful!
